Inspired by her talent for flavor and design profiles, owner, Stephanie Cardenas, began her culinary journey as an apprentice in New York in 2009. After mastering her craft, she returned to Texas in 2012, and launched a food truck business in Austin followed by a thriving corporate catering business quickly after. In October 2021, she founded The Gardeness, an evolving sought-after short-term rental business. Recognizing an opportunity to further elevate her offerings, she introduced food and beverage services, including her signature pizza kit.

 

A pivotal conversation with a former partner vendor, who owned a coffee shop, sparked the idea of offering her signature pizza kit to his main location to help increase lunch demand. Together, they brainstormed how to implement this service to enhance his and other coffee shop's lunch revenue, igniting Stephanie's entrepreneurial drive. These conversations fueled her determination to launch her pizza kit business, with the goal of empowering coffee shops to boost their sales by offering flavorful artisan-crafted pizzas on the go to their customers.
